About Me

Staff Software Engineer with 8+ years building high-scale consumer products at Gigantic Playground, PayPal and AutoZone. I own systems end to end - from event taxonomy and data models through GraphQL layers and the client-side architecture on top of them. I lead through both architecture and people: running high-level design reviews, mentoring engineers, and aligning stakeholders from product and design through director level. Outside of that I founded and built Brokxr, a full-stack insurtech platform, from the ground up.

Brokxr

A full-stack insurtech platform for insurance brokers, founded and built solo.

Visit Brokxr

My own company project - founded, architected and built from the ground up. Brokxr manages the complete policy lifecycle for insurance brokers, a workflow that most of the market still runs on spreadsheets and WhatsApp.

  • Designed a data access layer and DTO architecture that keeps the domain model clean across policy management, client tracking, and prospect pipelines.
  • Built renewal workflows and premium receipt generation - the two operations brokers spend the most manual time on.
  • Multi-channel client communication so brokers reach clients where they already are.
  • Owns the whole stack: schema design, auth, business logic, UI, and deploys.
  • Next.js
  • Firebase
  • Shadcn
  • TanStack Query
  • Vercel
  • Wallet into Federated Super Graph
    PayPal
Led the Digital Wallet team's integration into PayPal's federated super graph architecture, powering the next-generation mobile app for 400M+ users. Drove adoption of a server-selected components pattern that reduced data-fetching latency by 2x.
    • GraphQL
    • Apollo
    • React
    • TypeScript
  • PayPal Global Add Card
    PayPal
Co-led the rebuild of PayPal's global add card experience on web, delivering a plug-and-play architecture used across all markets with 2x performance improvement.

Professional Experience

  1. Staff Software Engineer

    - Present
    Gigantic Playground

Technical owner of the analytics platform, leading architecture, design review, and delivery for the Fleet Platform System.

    • Architected the company's first analytics platform from the ground up - event taxonomy, ingestion pipeline, data model, and reporting layer - turning open-ended business questions from leadership into a durable technical foundation.
    • Authored the high-level design and drove it through formal HLD review with engineering and business stakeholders, establishing the design-review bar the team now follows and de-risking scope before implementation started.
    • Owned stakeholder alignment across the organization - gathering requirements from product and business owners, negotiating priorities, and communicating tradeoffs and progress to non-technical audiences.

Served as team focal point across principal architects, directors, product, and design. Drove adoption of a server-selected components pattern that reduced data-fetching latency by 2x, guiding 20+ engineers and team leads through the implementation.
    • Engineered the GraphQL layer and Next.js UI flows for a confidential next-generation in-device wallet initiative targeting a tier 1 software company. Delivered the end-to-end card provisioning experience including security compliance flows with Visa and Mastercard, enabling users to add and manage cards within the device wallet.
    • Co-led the rebuild of PayPal's global card-add experience on web, delivering a plug-and-play architecture used across all markets with 2x performance improvement.
